Tour de France- Stage 20

This years Tour de France has given me the opportunity to participate in my first type of gambling pool ever. Although the outcome hasn't been at all what I expected, be sure that I will make a powerful return next year boasting a much better strategy...... Last place isn't good enough (apologies to Foon whom I owe ten dollars). 

Despite having the (soon to be) overall winner of the Tour, Carlos Sastre, I still managed to end up in last place on the Tour pool rankings. Cavendish did well with his stage wins... and then dropped out. Moreau didn't even make it to the first rest day. Zabel finished, but didn't win the green jersey. Steggmans was a total disappointment.

So in response to this years oh so disappointing outcome... team Mulletude would like to issue a formal statement to the press:     

"The Mulletude would like to thank Carlos Sastre for being the only man on our team..... also, a big shout out to our pseudo team-mate Wim Vansevenant for finishing the race. Dead Last..... We can't say much better for Moreau, Acabo, Cavendish, Casper and Wegman.

It seems like everyone and everything is falling off the back here in Mulletland...... falling and flowing soo wonderfully in the wind like enchanting locks of soft brown hair."
